I remember one winter, I was getting off the train, coming back from work. It had been delayed by heavy snow. The faces around me were nearly all angry, or just cold. I saw Sophia waving at me from the coffee stand, with her brown fluffy hat, and I felt warm again. I remember the yellow sky and the yellow reflected in the puddles, and how it brightened the grey rain, roads, pavements and buildings. I can feel now my cold socks, my wet hair, my shivering arms, and see your face under your hood, absorbed into the plastic coat.
